what is it?
The LRTA 1100 class is the second-generation class of high-floor light rail vehicles of Manila's LRT Line 1. The trains were purchased in 1996 as part of a capacity expansion project funded by official development assistance (ODA) loans from Japan. Entering service in 1999, many vehicles were taken out of service due to lack of spare parts.
