what is it?
The Republic F-84F Thunderstreak is a swept-wing turbojet-powered fighter-bomber designed and produced by the American aircraft manufacturer Republic Aviation. The RF-84F Thunderflash is a variant of the F-84F that was designed for the photo reconnaissance mission. The aircraft was originally intended to be a relatively straightforward upgrade to the Republic F-84 Thunderjet to make it more competitive with the North American F-86 Sabre, differing largely in the use of a swept-wing and tail.
How to recognise it: 1 jet engine · 10.3 m wingspan
