The McDonnell F-101 Voodoo is a supersonic jet fighter designed and produced by the American McDonnell Aircraft Corporation. It was also adapted as a nuclear-armed fighter-bomber for the USAF's Tactical Air Command (TAC), and as a photo reconnaissance aircraft.

- Wingspan of 12.1 m: about 3 cars parked nose to tail.
- Fully loaded it can weigh as much as 4 African elephants (~6 t each).
- Can fly 2.0× higher than Mount Everest (8,849 m).
jet: Gas turbine pushing air out the back (turbofan or turbojet): fast and high-flying.
