Agree and adopt a binding global treaty to end plastic pollution

UN plastics-treaty talks (INC) have not produced a treaty; INC-5.3 in Feb 2026 only elected a new chair, and the next substantive session, INC-5.4, is planned for 13–24 March 2027. Resolve the open disputes (production limits, chemicals of concern, decision rules) and adopt the treaty.
