있다 means both "to be (somewhere)" and "to have". 없다 is its opposite.
- 책이 있어요. — There is a book. / I have a book.
- 시간이 없어요. — I don't have time.
Location: noun + 에 있어요
에 marks where something is: 화장실이 어디*에 있어요?* — Where is the bathroom?
Position words come after the reference noun, then 에: 책상 위에 — on the desk, 집 앞에 — in front of the house.
